The Arizona Cardinals are a professional American football team based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Founded in 1898 in Chicago as the Morgan Athletic Club, they are the oldest continuously operating professional football team in the United States. The Cardinals have won two NFL championships (1925, 1947) and reached Super Bowl XLIII in 2009. They play their home games at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
