At Betz Legacy, we submit to trusted third-party grading companies on your behalf. Drop your items off at our store and we'll take care of everything from intake to final return.

How the grading process works
Seven steps, start to finish — here's exactly what happens to your items.
Bring your items to the store
Visit us at Crossgates Mall with the items you'd like graded. Our staff will review your cards, autographs, coins, or currency to confirm they're eligible for submission.
We review and prepare your submission
We'll go over your items with you, help determine the best service and tier for each piece, and complete all required submission paperwork on your behalf.
We create your tracking record
Once everything is prepared, we log your submission in our system and provide you with a receipt that includes your tracking information.
We ship your items
We securely package and ship your items directly to the grading company as part of our regular bulk submissions.
We track your submission
We monitor the status of your order throughout the grading process and can provide updates when available.
Graded items are returned to us
Once grading is complete, your items are shipped back to our store. We'll contact you when your graded cards, autographs, coins, or currency are ready for pickup.
Pick up your graded items
Return to the store to collect your graded items. Our team will go over your results with you if you'd like.

- Turnaround times vary depending on the grading company and service level chosen.
- Not all items qualify for grading. Our staff will let you know during the review process if something cannot be submitted.
- You remain the owner of your items throughout the entire process.
- We recommend bringing in your items during regular business hours so we have time to properly review everything.
