The Miami Dolphins are a professional American football team based in the Miami metropolitan area. Founded in 1965 as an AFL expansion team, they are the only team in NFL history to complete a perfect season (1972). The Dolphins won two Super Bowls (VII and VIII) and are known for their innovative offenses under Don Shula. They play at Hard Rock Stadium.
